Tom Kurczewski – Extra Innings Instructor/ConsultantCoach K. begins his 8th season as the varsity head coach and 13th year overall in the Avondale Baseball program. Before arriving at Avondale, his baseball experiences included 3 years at Michigan State followed by a minor league career with the Cleveland Indians and Atlanta Braves organizations as a pitcher. Coach K. has guided his teams to a 203-81 mark over his tenure which includes a 137-61 varsity mark over the past 7 years, including the school's first ever district crown in 2002. |

Joe Holland – Baseball InstructorJoe played at Bowling Green State University. In 1997, he was selected in the 10th round by the San Francisco Giants. Joe also played on various summer league teams, such as Mount Clemens Baseball Club, Warren Reds, Lima Locos (Great Lakes Collegiate League), and St. Clair Shores Saints. Joe specializes in baseball pitching lessons at Extra Innings. |

Vince Alessandrini – Extra Innings InstructorVince played at Macomb Community College. From there he went on to play two years for Jet Box. He has been an assistant coach at Notre Dame High School. Since then, he has played travel softball for the last 15 years and won numerous awards including player of the year in 2004. Vince Specializes in catching and hitting lessons at Extra Innings. |

Jeff McGavin – Extra Innings InstructorJeff has over 10 years experience as a baseball and basketball coach at various area High Schools. He played professional baseball in Germany. His collegiate years were at Eastern Michigan and Saginaw Valley State Universities. Jeff currently plays Men’s USSSA Major Level Softball for Team Combat and has won two World Championships. He was named Michigan’s USSSA Player of the Year in 2005. |

Chris has been a head coach for Utica High School girls softball as well as elite travel teams over the years. She played collegiate softball at Central Michigan University, was involved in the Olympic Trials, and Women's ASA Majors as a player. She was an ALL State Pitcher for Chippewa Valley High School. |

Gregg Sadowski – Extra Innings InstructorGreg played at Rochester College, team captain junior and senior year. He specializes in hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings for both games of baseball and softball. He has been coaching and instructing for five years with children of all ages. He currently is the Head Coach of the Coughlin Cubs 11u team. Greg is also a teacher for five years at Utica Community Schools. |

Larry Feola – Extra Innings Pitching InstructorLarry played for the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations. He also played in the Mexican league in the summer and winter. He pitched a no hitter game in the Puerto Rico league. Larry has 17 years experience as a pro player. He has been a pitching instructor over ten years for kids of all ages. |

Patrick Kenny – Extra Innings InstructorPat was an All State shortstop for Utica High School and went on to play collegiate baseball at Wayne State, SVSU, and Madonna University. He earned All Conference, Gold Glove, and All Star Honors during his college career. he is the Assistant Varsity Coach at Utica High School and is also coaching at Macomb Community College. Pat specializes in hitting, fielding, and throwing instructions at Extra Innings. |

Kourtney Thompson – Extra Innings InstructorKourtney is the JV baseball head coach at Avondale High School. Prior to coming to Avondale, K.T. played at the University of Michigan where he won 2 Big Ten titles and the Bill Freehan Top Hitter Award. After graduation, he played in the St. Louis Cardinals organization for a short while before moving on to start his teaching career. He has won three USSSA world titles with the Mountain Top softball teams of the 80s and 90s. Kourtney's area of expertise is hitting. |
