Brad Muszynski - Extra Innings Instructor

Brad was all MAC Athlete of the Week for the Macomb Daily while attending Roseville High School in 2006. He was a 3 year starter on varsity and team MVP his senior year. After graduating, Brad played his collegiate baseball at Macomb Community College. As a pitcher there he played two years earning the Coach's Award back to back years. After that, he played for the Adult semi-pro team Jet Box. Brad has coached the Extra Innings 14& under and 12& under fall ball teams. Brad specializes in both hitting and pitching instruction at Extra Innings.

Alyson Hugelier - Extra Innings Instructor

Alyson played varsity softball for Stevenson High School, winning 2 District Titles. She was awarded "Best Defensive Leader" three years in a row. She also earned All District Softball Team Honors, Macomb County Class A Honorable mention and Second Team All County Awards in High School. Aly then played collegiate softball at Macomb Community College. She was awarded the Aimee Smith Coaches award and was part of the State Championship Tourney Team in 2006. Alyson has coached high school softball for the last 4 years, and is currently the Head Coach of the junior varsity team at Stevenson High School. Alyson specializes in softball hitting lessons including left side bunt/slap/drag, and fielding lessons at Extra Innings.

Dan Vitale - Extra Innings Instructor

Dan has over 25 years of experience as a player, coach and manager for baseball and softball. He has played and managed Men's USSSA softball, winning a World Championship in 2004. In 2010, Dan was inducted into the Michigan USSSA Hall of Fame for his contributions as a player, coach, and manager for the games of Men's Slow Pitch Softball and Girl's Fast Pitch Softball. Dan specializes in hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings for softball and baseball.

Gregg Sadowski - Extra Innings Instructor

Gregg played at Rochester College, team captain junior and senior year. He specializes in hitting and fielding lessons at Extra Innings for both games of baseball and softball. He has been coaching and instructing for five years with children of all ages. He's currently a Co-Head Coach of Team Line Drive Black 13U. Gregg is also a teacher for seven years at Utica Community Schools.

Jennifer Puggini - Extra Innings Instructor

In high school, Jenn led her team to a district championship earning MVP for 2 years and all county honors. Jennifer continued playing collegiate softball at Macomb Community College, and helped lead the team to nationals for a 9th place finish. She holds pitching records at MCC for ERA (1.51), season and career strikeouts (128/221) and most wins in a season (22). She received several awards while at Macomb, including All-State, All- Region, All-Conference, and All-Tournament Team. Jenn completed her career at Rochester College helping lead the team to a fourth place finish at Nationals her senior year. Jennifer has coached at Macomb Community college and is currently the pitching coach at Dakota High School. Jenn specializes in fast pitch pitching lessons at Extra Innings.

Matthew Spiess - Extra Innings Instructor

Matthew Spiess knows how to pitch well and has been doing so since he was 8 years old -- with a 24-8 record, he helped pitch his high school varsity baseball team to 3 straight District Championships -- as a senior, he was a First Team Division 1 Baseball All-State, All-Region, All-District, All-Conference -- he was drafted as a pitcher out of high school in the 28th Round of the 1999 Major League Baseball Draft by the Cleveland Indians -- instead of going pro, he elected to attend Division I, University of Detroit Mercy on a baseball scholarship where he pitched all 4 years of college and earned a Business Administration degree -- he was the pitching coach for a high school varsity baseball team for 5 years -- and has just completed his 6th year pitching for an Amateur Baseball League where his team has been a top contender each year -- Matthew Spiess has mastered the art of pitching, and has the knowledge, skills, and experiences to teach others to pitch well with discipline, control, effectiveness, and overall has so much fun doing it.

Frank Persichino - Extra Innings Instructor

Four year college starter...Won WHAC Gold Glove award at Concordia University in 2009...In the hall of fame at Macomb Community College was named the 2007-08 Academic Athlete of the Year for the 2nd consecutive year with a 4.0 GPA earned Team MVP honors and Macomb Athlete of the year in 2008. Academic All-American (Nominee) and Distinguished Academic All-American honors...Won, and captained, the 2005 State Championship Stevenson baseball team...Played in 2006 High school all- star game at Comerica Park...Played in 2006 High school throwback all-star game at Comerica Park for Negro League Weekend...Coaches baseball at Stevenson High School and has coached fed teams for 7 years.
